Arizona Licensed VP of Claims

Job Summary

Driving the Casualty Claim strategy, the full-time Arizona Licensed VP of Claims will manage high-level leaders and specialized claim staff, oversee complex claims operations, and collaborate with executive leadership to enhance claim handling processes in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads and manages specialized claim staff handling high-severity claims, providing executive oversight of TPA claim management
• Develops and executes organizational strategies to optimize claim handling effectiveness and efficiency while exemplifying company policies
• Partners with leadership for strategic planning and provides technical claim expertise to enhance processes for Excess & Surplus and Specialty lines

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree preferred; graduate degree and advanced study in Insurance are a plus
• CPCU designation and relevant state licenses required
• 15+ years of experience in claims, with at least 7 years in Commercial, Excess & Surplus claims
• 10+ years of management experience
• Proven knowledge of Commercial, Excess & Surplus Lines Claims and strategic project management
