Job Summary
To support pharmacy operations, the part-time Arkansas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will manage drug utilization and prior authorization review programs while working remotely from various states including Arkansas, Oregon, and North Dakota.
Key responsibilities
- Assists in the development and supervision of drug utilization and prior authorization review programs
- Develops and implements pharmacy cost containment strategies tailored to specific enterprise needs
- Acts as a corporate pharmacy resource, providing leadership and advice on pharmacy reimbursement and claims processing policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Active and unrestricted pharmacy license in the state(s) where duties are performed
- Minimum three (3) years of pharmacy practice experience
- Experience in managed pharmacy care and drug utilization review preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with medical directors and enterprise personnel
