Job Summary
To ensure compliance and provide necessary services for students with disabilities, the full-time Arkansas Licensed Special Education Teacher will work with parents, general education teachers, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans in a virtual setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and administrators to ensure compliance with special education laws and requirements
- Monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies as needed to meet individual needs
Required qualifications
- Valid Arkansas Special Education teacher license
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state special education laws
- Experience with the IEP Committee process and individualized services for students with disabilities
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff
