Arkansas Licensed Title Abstractor

Job Summary

Providing advanced right-of-way title research and analysis, the full-time Arkansas Licensed Title Abstractor will independently perform complex title examinations and prepare documentation to support property acquisitions while working remotely from Arkansas.

Key responsibilities

• Independently plan and execute title research tasks, serving as a technical resource to project teams
• Conduct detailed title research and analyze various legal documents affecting title ownership
• Prepare accurate title abstracts and reports while coordinating with surveyors and legal professionals to resolve title issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in title abstracting, particularly in right-of-way projects
• Working knowledge of public infrastructure or utility projects preferred
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional title research and recording systems
• State-specific title or right-of-way certifications preferred, where applicable
