Art Outsourcing Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Art Outsourcing Lead, this remote position will manage the quality of outsourced art content for Guild Wars 2, providing clear direction and mentorship to both internal and external teams while improving production pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and maintain high visual quality of outsourced art content in collaboration with Art Managers and discipline leads
• Establish best practices for the outsourcing art team and mentor internal artists through feedback
• Partner with the Outsourcing production team to streamline asset integration and maintain asset tracking throughout production stages

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in art direction and asset management within the gaming industry
• Strong understanding of visual design principles and technical requirements for game art
• Experience leading teams and providing constructive feedback to artists
• Familiarity with art specifications, style guides, and documentation processes
• Ability to adopt and implement new tools and techniques relevant to art production
