Job Summary
To support the USPTO P-TACTS program, the full-time Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and deploy production AI and ML solutions, focusing on large language models and scalable cloud deployments, while collaborating with government stakeholders and technical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement AI and ML solutions tailored to mission needs
- Deploy scalable cloud applications on Databricks and AWS environments
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure maintainability and functionality of applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of applied ML and AI engineering experience
- Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Practical experience with large language models and cloud platforms like AWS
- Eligibility to obtain a USPTO Public Trust and authorization to work in the U.S
