Job Summary
Leading a substantial technical domain within the AI platform, the full-time Divisional Artificial Intelligence Engineer III will be responsible for architecture, implementation, and operational health, ensuring reliability across multiple products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own architecture and operational health for AI platform domains, focusing on model orchestration and service design
- Establish reusable patterns for context packaging and retrieval, and define metrics for quality and reliability
- Mentor engineers and lead technical discovery with product teams to prioritize platform improvements and reduce duplicated engineering efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of software engineering experience, including ownership of production services
- Experience building LLM-powered applications or AI infrastructure
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python with experience in designing production services and APIs
- Knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous job processing, and secure system design
