Artificial Intelligence Researcher
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative claim handling agents, the full-time Artificial Intelligence Researcher will work remotely to design, prototype, and evaluate AI systems tailored for end-to-end insurance workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and rigorously evaluate specialized AI agents for insurance workflows
- Translate complex business problems into robust agentic systems, including task decomposition and tool integration
- Take ownership of AI systems from formulation to production deployment and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI systems, especially in Generative AI and LLM-based architectures
- Practical experience with prompt engineering and systematic evaluation of AI systems
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Agent Framework, OpenAI Agents SDK)
- Business fluency in English; fluency in French is a significant advantage
