Job Summary
Leading technical delivery in AS400 environments, the full-time AS400 Technical Lead will manage hands-on development with COBOL and RPG, ensuring adherence to project scope and quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery and coding across AS400, COBOL, RPG, and CL environments
- Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams, driving productivity and capacity planning
- Act as the primary stakeholder interface, resolving dependencies and securing business rule sign-offs
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in AS400 applications
- Hands-on experience with AS400 environments and programming in RPG and COBOL/400
- Experience with CLLE and SQLRPGLE
- Familiarity with DB2/400 and leading technical delivery teams
- Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
