Job Summary
To support the Annuities Actuarial Financial Reporting team, the full-time remote ASA Actuary I will set STAT and GAAP reserves, maintain financial reporting models, and collaborate on actuarial assumptions while adapting to evolving project needs.
Key responsibilities
- Set STAT and GAAP reserves in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain and enhance deferred annuities financial reporting models, including month-end processes
- Collaborate with the experience study team to develop and implement actuarial assumptions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong quantitative background
- 6-9 years of annuity-related actuarial experience; Principles Based Reserving and FAS133 experience preferred
- ASA designation required
- Experience with Python and SQL/Snowflake database skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in uncertain or evolving situations
