Assistant Buyer

Job Summary

To support the Men's Wearhouse Merchandising team, the full-time remote Assistant Buyer will manage purchase orders, maintain buy plans, and track orders while collaborating with vendors and internal partners to ensure timely execution and resolution of business issues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate buy plans and business records
• Manage purchase orders and track orders from placement through delivery
• Prepare and analyze selling reports to monitor business performance and provide actionable recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a similar field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in allocation and buying or assistant buying functions
• Thorough understanding of the Open to Buy process and assortment planning
• Strong knowledge of GM%, MU%, GM$, sell-through, and AUR
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
