Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller, the full-time virtual position will manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, oversee CapEx and fixed asset accounting, and develop scalable accounting systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting routines
• Oversee accounting for operating expenses, CapEx, fixed assets, leases, payroll, and tax-related matters
• Manage project accounting activities for data center development and construction projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close/reporting leadership and team management
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience with complex accounting transactions
• Experience with CapEx, fixed assets, and capital-intensive industries preferred
• Experience in Big 4 Accounting or equivalent, and in start-up environments preferred
