Assistant Director of Stewardship Reporting

Job Summary

To enhance donor engagement, the full-time salaried Assistant Director of Stewardship Reporting will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive stewardship reporting program that demonstrates donor impact and strengthens long-term relationships, while working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel and event support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the University's stewardship reporting strategy and manage the production of various donor impact reports
• Develop compelling written content that effectively communicates donor impact and supports donor retention objectives
• Serve as a strategic partner to frontline fundraisers and provide guidance on stewardship reporting best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 4-7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a related or transferrable role
• Experience in developing and managing large-scale projects, particularly in donor relations or stewardship
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities to create engaging donor-facing content
• Demonstrated knowledge of donor relations and philanthropic impact reporting best practices
