Assistant Manager Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO in a hybrid full-time role, the Assistant Manager Cybersecurity will design, implement, and improve cybersecurity controls while providing technical support across various security domains to protect member data and enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for endpoint detection, network security, and incident response
• Assist in evaluating security architecture and controls for cloud platforms and new technology implementations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including hands-on security engineering and operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services, credit unions, banking, or a regulated industry preferred
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, operations, and relevant frameworks such as NIST and PCI DSS
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into clear technical controls and measurable outcomes
