Assistant Manager Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time Assistant Manager Cybersecurity will design, implement, and improve cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for endpoint detection, network security, and incident response
• Assist with engineering standards and secure configuration baselines while managing a team's day-to-day activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with hands-on experience in security engineering or operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services or a regulated industry strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and Zero Trust principles
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into clear technical controls and measurable outcomes
