Assistant Manager Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time hybrid Assistant Manager Cybersecurity will design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains to protect member data and enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide technical support for endpoint detection, network security, cloud security, and incident response
• Manage team operations, including work intake, prioritization, performance input, and technical coaching

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with hands-on experience in security engineering or operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services or regulated industries strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Zero Trust principles
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls and measurable outcomes
