Assistant Manager Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time Assistant Manager Cybersecurity will design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for various security functions including endpoint detection, network security, and incident response
• Assist in developing engineering standards and secure configuration baselines while managing the assigned team's day-to-day operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with hands-on experience in security engineering or operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services, credit unions, banking, or another regulated industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, incident response, and cloud security
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Zero Trust, and relevant regulatory requirements
