Assistant Manager Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time salaried Assistant Manager Cybersecurity will design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide hands-on technical support for various security areas including endpoint detection, network security, and incident response
• Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned team, including work prioritization, technical coaching, and performance input

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with 1 to 3 years in financial services or a regulated industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, threat detection, incident response, and cloud security
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Zero Trust principles, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into technical controls and measurable outcomes
