Assistant Manager Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Supporting the Manager and Assistant CISO, the full-time salaried Assistant Manager Cybersecurity will design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity controls while providing hands-on technical support across various security domains in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and technical controls
• Provide technical support for endpoint detection, network security, identity management, and incident response
• Assist with regulatory examinations, audits, and risk assessments while preparing updates on security posture and incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with a focus on security engineering and operations
• 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services or a regulated industry is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, and incident response practices
• Ability to translate risks and regulatory requirements into technical controls and measurable outcomes
