Job Summary
To support the growth of the Information Technology program, the full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity will teach four courses per semester, engage in high-quality research, and participate in program development and accreditation activities on campus in Dallas.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, including Foundations of Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics
- Engage in research and scholarship in the field of cybersecurity
- Participate in program development, course development, program assessment, and committee leadership
Required qualifications
- A doctoral degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Cybersecurity and Information Technology
- Experience using technology in teaching and teaching in multiple modalities (hybrid, online, face-to-face)
- Evidence of significant academic research and/or applied experience in Cybersecurity
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills
