Job Summary
To support the Department of Strategy & Entrepreneurship, the full-time Assistant Teaching Professor, Legal Studies of Business will teach a combination of in-person and online courses, manage a course load of 3-3 per academic year, and engage in research to meet AACSB Scholarly Academic standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Teach legal studies of business and related courses, both in-person and online
- Conduct research to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status and contribute to the academic community
- Participate in service and collegial interactions with faculty, staff, and students
Required qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school
- History of bar membership with no material disciplinary action
- Experience teaching law or legal studies at the college or university level
- Evidence of research or scholarly activity in the legal studies field
- Scholarly Academic status upon hiring, with relevant publications in the last six years
