Job Summary
Detail-oriented and highly motivated, the fully remote Assistant Video Editor will support the post-production team by organizing raw footage, creating rough cuts, and assisting with editing short-form advertisements for various social media platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and manage raw footage, audio files, and production assets while collaborating with the post-production team
- Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts and creative briefs, implementing revisions as needed
- Perform quality checks and ensure final video deliverables meet technical specifications and brand guidelines
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related field
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Familiarity with short-form video formats for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and file management abilities
- Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of handling professional video editing software
