Associate Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Associate Actuarial Analyst will perform and support Property & Casualty reserve analyses, assist in evaluating loss reserves, maintain reserving models, and contribute to financial reporting activities under the guidance of experienced actuaries.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform and contribute to quarterly loss and LAE reserve analyses across assigned lines of business
• Assist in preparing reserve analyses using established actuarial methods and support the development of documentation in accordance with actuarial standards
• Analyze development patterns and claim trends while collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand operational drivers impacting reserve results

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field
• Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam is required; 2 to 4 exams preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to pursuing ACAS credential
• Prior internship experience in insurance, actuarial, finance, analytics, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with R, SQL, or other programming languages preferred
