Associate Actuary
Job Summary
To support Medicare strategic initiatives, the full-time Associate Actuary will conduct strategic analysis, manage actuarial needs, and build tools for planning processes while working remotely within the Continental United States.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to Medicare strategic initiatives and planning
- Develop and enhance tools and processes to support internal users' needs
- Analyze and evaluate premium rates and assess cash reserves and liabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of actuarial experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- Strong technical skills in advanced Excel, SQL, and SAS
- Experience with healthcare and Medicare Advantage actuarial analysis
