Job Summary
To support AI-driven software development and technology innovation, the full-time Associate AI Engineer will collaborate remotely with experienced engineers to develop AI-powered solutions, enhance development workflows, and assist in technical research for federal IT projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, test, debug, and enhance software applications using modern programming languages and AI-assisted development tools
- Collaborate with software engineers to identify AI-driven improvements for existing applications and workflows
- Design and develop AI-powered prototypes and automation scripts to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience using AI-powered coding tools for software development
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C#
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or OpenAI Codex through academic or personal projects
- Basic understanding of generative AI and large language models (LLMs) and their applications in software development
