Associate Buyer

Job Summary

Managing a defined group of product categories, the full-time Associate Buyer will independently oversee the buying process, vendor relationships, and product performance while collaborating closely with the Buying Manager in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day buying and merchandising strategy for assigned categories, ensuring assortment quality and sales performance
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating product opportunities and managing the acquisition process
• Analyze sales and inventory data to inform buying decisions and adjust strategies based on performance insights

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, or a related field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in buying, retail merchandising, or product development, preferably in women's apparel or accessories
• Demonstrated ability to manage products and vendor relationships independently
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of assortment planning and retail buying fundamentals
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, and familiarity with Shopify or similar systems preferred
