Associate Category Manager
Job Summary
Driving category management principles through data analytics, the full-time temporary Associate Category Manager will develop reports, synthesize insights, and support strategic business plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and analyze reports on sales, pricing, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement planograms and category strategies
- Conduct detailed category assessments and deliver actionable insights to enhance business performance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in Category Management, Customer Management, or Sales Strategy
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and knowledge of syndicated data sources like Circana and Nielsen
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
- Understanding of assortment and planogram execution processes
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, along with experience in shelving software tools
