Associate Communications Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting external communications and marketing initiatives, the full-time Associate Communications Specialist will develop content, manage media relations, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote Parsons' Federal Solutions portfolio, primarily focusing on the Defense & Intelligence business unit, in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop communications content and messaging for product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer engagements
• Draft and edit various communications materials, including press releases, articles, and social media content
• Assist with media relations activities and support the planning of trade shows and conferences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience supporting communications campaigns or media relations activities
