Associate Content Creator

Job Summary

Bringing original and creative videos to life, the full-time Associate Content Creator will pitch, book, film, edit, and deliver engaging content for social media channels and the app, while working independently during breaking news situations.

Key responsibilities:

• Pitch and create compelling social videos, particularly during breaking news events
• Collaborate closely with reporters, editors, and the video production team to produce engaging content
• Attend events to capture and edit video content on behalf of the brand

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere
• Strong understanding of social media trends, especially for Gen Z audiences
• Experience creating and growing audiences for media sites and digital brands
