Associate Data Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions, the full-time Associate Data Engineer will transform raw data into analytics-ready assets using the Microsoft stack, collaborating with stakeholders while enhancing technical and consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using T SQL, Python, and Azure Data Factory/Fabric Data Pipelines
- Design relational and lakehouse models, creating shortcuts and dimensional models for Power BI
- Implement automated data quality checks and contribute to CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps or GitHub
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience delivering production data solutions in a consulting or client-facing role
- Strong proficiency in T SQL for data transformation and performance tuning
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft services such as ADF, Synapse Pipelines, or Fabric Data Pipelines
- Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or comparable lakehouse technologies preferred
