Associate Director, Behavioral Health

Job Summary

Supporting Optum Behavioral Health Solutions, the remote Associate Director, Behavioral Health will manage the development and implementation of programs aimed at optimizing quality and reducing costs in behavioral health through collaboration with payer accounts and enterprise stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee a pipeline of initiatives to improve benefit expenses and clinical quality outcomes
• Create project plans and operational processes to support program development and implementation
• Analyze data and metrics to evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a managed care organization or health insurer
• Proven track record of collaboration with diverse teams to drive innovative solutions
• Experience leveraging data to inform strategies and solutions
• Demonstrated leadership in executing complex, organization-wide initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple projects ensuring quality and timely delivery
