Associate Director of Analytics Engineering
Job Summary
To build and scale the Analytics Engineering function, the remote Associate Director of Analytics Engineering will mentor team members, establish data quality standards, and refine engineering methodologies to enhance client delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data quality testing methodologies and automated validation frameworks for client programs
- Partner with Engineering and Program leadership to define core processes and documentation standards for the Analytics Engineering function
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while performing hands-on data work for critical projects
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in data or analytics engineering with expertise in data modeling and modern warehouse architectures
- Experience mentoring technical team members and conducting thorough code reviews
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining data quality testing methodologies
- Strong background in establishing engineering workflows and documentation standards
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
