Job Summary
Providing leadership and subject matter expertise, the full-time Associate Director of Biostatistics will oversee statistical design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of statistical analysis plans and collaborate on study design and protocol development
- Supervise and mentor biostatisticians, offering technical guidance and performance management
- Ensure high-quality statistical deliverables and support regulatory submissions by providing statistical input and responding to health authority queries
Required qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, or a related scientific discipline
- 7-9 years of experience in biostatistics within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environment
- 4-6 years of proven experience in clinical trial design, statistical programming, and data analysis
- 4-6 years of experience supervising or leading a team of biostatisticians
- Strong knowledge of statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python
