Associate Director of Contracts

Job Summary

Providing operational leadership, the full-time Associate Director of Contracts will oversee clinical trial contracting activities, manage contract administration personnel, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Directs the negotiation, execution, and administration of clinical research agreements, ensuring timely and efficient processes
• Designs and manages the clinical trial contracts team, including staff development and performance management
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to facilitate study activation and resolve complex contractual issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience or certifications may be considered
• Minimum seven years of experience in clinical research or related fields
• At least three years of leadership or management experience in research administration or contracting
• Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations and contract requirements
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and stakeholder management
