Associate Director of Data Engineering
Job Summary
Partnering with Product Managers and Data Scientists, the full-time Associate Director of Data Engineering will shape the data foundation for AI products by building and operating data platforms that transform raw data into actionable insights while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data and insights solutions for AI features based on customer needs
- Maintain and enhance the data platform that supports AI workflows, ensuring reliable data ingestion and transformation
- Develop high-quality datasets for Data Scientists to support the continuous improvement of AI products
Required qualifications
- At least 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
- Proven experience in building and maintaining data platforms for AI or machine learning products
- Strong skills in data operations and software engineering, particularly in designing reliable data workflows
- Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and its reliance on dependable data
- Experience with governed data lakes and best practices for data quality and access
