Associate Director of FP&A

Job Summary

Collaborating with Clinical Development Operations, the remote Associate Director of FP&A will manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial management for clinical trials and departmental operations, ensuring effective communication and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts for clinical studies while monitoring financial performance against plans
• Oversee procurement strategy, contract negotiations, and vendor governance activities related to clinical CRO financial terms
• Develop long-range financial forecasts and operating plans in collaboration with internal and external partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business; CPA or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of financial planning or accounting experience, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Expertise in clinical study budgeting and forecasting
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems or planning tools
