Associate Director of Journal Production

Job Summary

Leading the production of scientific research content, the full-time Associate Director of Journal Production will oversee the end-to-end process for approximately 3,600 text articles and 1,000 videos annually in a remote environment, ensuring high standards of scientific accuracy and quality throughout.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Journal production operations, ensuring timely delivery of text and video content
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality-control standards for text and video productions
• Continuously optimize production workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; preferred in a scientific, technical, media, or related field
• Significant experience in video and/or scientific content production with familiarity in production workflows
• 5+ years of management experience leading multi-functional production teams
• Proven track record of improving production throughput and maintaining high quality standards
• Strong understanding of video production processes, including pre-production and editing
