Associate Director of Machine Learning

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact team, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Machine Learning will set scientific direction, manage machine learning scientists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance predictive modeling for small molecules in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team focused on ADMET/PK prediction and multiparameter design for small molecules
• Establish scientific strategy and priorities for the Machine Learning Sciences team aligned with broader research goals
• Collaborate with various scientific disciplines to integrate machine learning predictions into project workflows and decision-making

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience (Bachelor's with 12+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years)
• Proven track record of leading teams or projects with measurable scientific impact
• Experience applying machine learning methods to drug discovery-related problems
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated initiative in evaluating and adopting new methodologies and technologies
