Associate Director of Performance Engineering

Job Summary

To support the technical requirements of Asset Management contracts, the full-time Associate Director of Performance Engineering will oversee project management, mentor team members, and drive the development of new technology services in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical asset management activities for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, ensuring operational performance and compliance
• Define team direction and manage large-scale projects while facilitating collaboration among cross-functional teams
• Establish and maintain budgets, schedules, and performance requirements, while driving process improvements and strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of management experience in a relevant field
• University Degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years of domain experience, preferably in utility-scale BESS projects
• Proven documentation and communication skills with senior management and external stakeholders
• Experience in managing operational performance and contract compliance for BESS projects
• Masters/Graduate degree with 6+ years of relevant domain experience preferred
