Associate Director of Scientific Affairs
Job Summary
To support educational initiatives, the remote Associate Director of Scientific Affairs will manage grant development, produce high-quality scientific content, and collaborate with healthcare leaders to enhance educational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-caliber medical and scientific content while adhering to adult learning principles and optimizing program impact
- Contribute to grant planning and development to address unmet educational needs and assist in strategic planning for future activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with key healthcare leaders to gather insights for educational programs and grant development opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (PhD or PharmD preferred) in a scientific, medical, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and developing continuing medical education (CME/CE) activities
- Experience in developing CME/CE activities supported by pharmaceutical companies or government contracts
- Ability to independently conduct literature reviews and analyze scientific/medical research
- Current knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience in developing content in various disease areas
