Associate Director of Self-Pay Operations

Job Summary

Leading a portfolio of in-house self-pay collections and vendor operations, the full-time Associate Director of Self-Pay Operations will manage staffing, cash acceleration strategies, and performance metrics while working remotely within the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of in-house self-pay collections teams, including staffing and workflow design
• Drive cash acceleration strategies for self-pay accounts and manage end-to-end A/R inventory performance
• Lead vendor operations business reviews and monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, specifically in self-pay operations or third-party collections
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 8+ FTEs, including performance management
• 2+ years of experience overseeing vendor operations, including SLA administration
• Demonstrated experience managing self-pay A/R inventory and preparing performance reports for stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create liquidation and cash performance trend reports
