Job Summary

Driving world-class study start-up planning and execution, the full-time remote Associate Director Study Start-up will manage a team of Study Start-up Managers to ensure high-quality, compliant delivery of clinical trials across multiple programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver study start-up milestones on time and within budget while adhering to ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements
• Provide portfolio-level oversight of study start-up performance and escalate risks with solution-focused recommendations
• Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, learning, and continuous improvement in study start-up processes

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 3 years, Master's degree with 7 years, Bachelor's degree with 9 years, Associate's degree with 12 years, or High school diploma/GED with 14 years of clinical execution experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience directly managing people or leading teams
• Expertise in pharma and clinical trial processes and operations
• Project management experience in a global context
• No prior Veeva experience required
