Seeking an early career Associate Genealogist, the full-time remote position will conduct genealogical research in German-speaking regions and the General US, collaborating with Research Managers to meet client goals and deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Research Managers to complete tasks and support client goals
- Conduct genealogical research using proper methods in German-speaking and General US regions
- Create and maintain research trees, journals, and accurate citations while writing clear client-facing research reports
Required qualifications:
- Fluent or advanced German speaker (reading, writing, speaking)
- Early career genealogist eager to specialize in Germanic and US research
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical evaluation skills
- Effective time/project manager able to work independently
- Skilled writer of client updates and research documentation
