Job Summary
To support genealogical research projects, the full-time Associate Genealogist - German Licensed will conduct research in German-speaking areas and the General US, collaborating with Research Managers and utilizing advanced German language skills, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Research Managers to complete tasks and align with client goals
- Conduct genealogical research using appropriate methods in German-speaking and General US regions
- Create and maintain research documentation, including trees, journals, and client-facing reports
Required qualifications
- Fluent or advanced proficiency in German (reading, writing, speaking)
- Early career genealogist with a focus on Germanic and US research
- Strong analytical evaluation skills and attention to detail
- Effective writing skills for client updates and research documentation
