Associate General Counsel (Licensed)
Job Summary
To support a growing legal function, the full-time salaried Associate General Counsel (Licensed) will manage commercial contracting, legal operations, and AI governance while working remotely from the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance and risk management
- Design and implement scalable legal processes and resources to support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI governance and privacy compliance related to data handling practices
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 4-10 years of transactional legal experience focused on commercial contracting
- Experience in building legal operations infrastructure, including CLM platforms and contract playbooks
- Working knowledge of privacy law and healthcare data frameworks, including HIPAA
- Experience negotiating complex enterprise agreements involving data processing or AI services
