Job Summary
To oversee the daily operations of research interns, the full-time Associate Manager AGI Research will manage their activities, coordinate project plans, and perform hands-on research and prototyping in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate intern research activities and monitor progress against established project objectives and schedules
- Conduct hands-on research, prototyping, and coding while providing coaching and feedback to interns
- Administer performance evaluations, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with documentation and technical standards
Required qualifications
- Degree in computer science, machine learning, AI, data science, engineering, or a related technical field
- 2-3 years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or technical program management
- Experience mentoring or managing technical contributors, including interns or early-career engineers
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and experience with coding standards
- Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira or Asana
