Associate Medical Director

Job Summary

To support clinical strategy implementation, the full-time remote Associate Medical Director will serve as the operational extension of the Chief Medical Officer, overseeing clinical excellence initiatives, governance support, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical excellence and quality improvement initiatives
• Organize and prioritize critical issues and executive communications to facilitate leadership decision-making
• Translate clinical strategies into actionable implementation plans and workflows while driving process improvement efforts

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) or other healthcare-related advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations, quality, or strategic program leadership
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and drive change management
• Strong understanding of clinical operations and healthcare delivery models
• Exceptional strategic planning and executive advisory capabilities
