Job Summary

Leading content development for multiple projects, the remote Associate Medical Director will ensure high-quality, medically accurate content while collaborating cross-functionally and managing a small team to meet client objectives in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities

• Independently develop strategic and high-quality medical communications content across multiple therapeutic areas
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure content meets project objectives and adheres to regulatory guidelines
• Supervise and provide feedback to medical writers and scientific associates while managing project timelines and resources

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in life sciences or English with relevant experience in a pharmaceutical agency or medical communications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
• Strong proficiency with AMA style and tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Expertise in scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for managed care audiences
