Associate Merchandise Planner

Job Summary

Supporting the development of merchandise plans, the full-time Associate Merchandise Planner will analyze sales trends and forecasts while preparing reports and analytics to optimize inventory and increase margin in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly assortment plans for assigned product categories aligned with financial targets
• Manage reforecasting of category unit and dollar plans, focusing on future opportunities and minimizing sales/inventory risks
• Analyze business trends, including category performance and margin drivers, and provide recommendations for markdowns and promotions

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in planning systems and BI tools preferred
• Ability to convey complex data clearly across all levels, including executives
• Proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and manages competing priorities
• Collaborative team player with a strong customer focus and relationship-building mindset
