Associate Merchant

Job Summary

Supporting the Senior Merchant in driving commercial performance, the full-time remote Associate Merchant will manage assortment planning, sales and inventory analysis, and buy recommendations across various channels in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Merchant to build and maintain seasonal assortment plans and ensure accurate documentation of product details
• Support initial buy recommendations and monitor inventory levels to inform reorders and manage potential risks
• Conduct recurring analysis of category performance, preparing reports that identify key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Buying, Merchandising, Planning, or a related retail/eCommerce function
• Experience within apparel, accessories, home, lifestyle, or a high-growth consumer brand preferred
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in retail math and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Ability to manage multiple categories and deadlines simultaneously in a remote work environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities
